VIDEO: Peter describes the impact of his colleagues' behaviour This audio clip was recorded in 2016 when UHMBT bosses Ameeta Joshi (clinical director) and David Walker (medical director) falsely accused Peter Duffy of upsetting two patients whose lives Peter saved. Peter raised concerns after colleague Ash Jain failed to insert stents in two patients who only had one kidney after carrying out a procedure. Both patients subsequently went into kidney failure as a result of Mr Jain's mistakes. If it wasn't for Peter's actions both patients could have died. In this video Peter describes the impact of the bullying he faced from three of his colleagues because he reported clinical errors they made.

Brave Bill Murray reveals his horror testicle loss story Bill Murray underwent a routine procedure at Furness General Hospital in April 2019 when fluid collected around one of his testicles. The procedure, known as a hydrocele repair, typically takes around 30 minutes and rarely results in complications. However, Mr Murray, of Cardiff Street on  Walney , woke up in extreme agony and it was only two days later that he was rushed back into theatre where a surgeon discovered his testicle had gone black and gangrenous.
